The Ten Commandments

The Ten Commandments. First Commandment. I am the Lord your God! There are no other gods for you before me! Second Commandment. Do not make for yourself an image of God. Neither make for yourself the likeness of anything in heaven or on earth or in the sea. Third Commandment. You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain. Fourth Commandment. Do not forget the day of rest, which is a special day for the Lord. Six days of the week you have to do your work, but the seventh day is a day of rest. On it you shall do no work, you, nor your children, nor your livestock, nor the stranger who is with you. Fifth Commandment. Honor your father and your mother. Sixth Commandment. You shall not murder. Seventh Commandment. You shall not commit adultery. Eighth Commandment. You shall not steal. Ninth Commandment. Do not say untruths about your fellow human beings! Tenth Commandment. You shall not covet what belongs to others!
