Opening 70 years ago in 1955, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride follows the events of Walt Disney's "The Wind in the Willows" from 1949, focusing on the wild adventures of J. Thaddius Toad! Unlike Snow White's Enchanted Wish, Peter Pan's Flight, and Alice in Wonderland, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride is one of the few Fantasyland Attractions at Disneyland that has yet to receive it's modern day overhual with screen and story upgrades. Although the version of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was removed in the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride at Disneyland in California will most likely never be taken out due to its unique construction characteristics!
