How does a man in the 17 century find his faith in God again, or rather how does he loose it in the first place? Ask Jonathan, the local priest who looses his battles with the devil and gives into lust and temptation and impatience. Deciding to give up his faith completely, a series of Godly occurrences leads him on an adventure where he falls in love with a tribal warrior princess, gets tested and almost looses his life to an opposing tribe filled with lethal warriors bent on killing him, and this happens in one night ! All this brings him back to just a question. These abnormal events were just a series of coincidences or the teachings of a higher power..
