University of Cambridge receives record £190 million gift from British investor Chris Rokos (UK)

The University of Cambridge has received a gift of £190 million in what is thought to be the largest donation of its kind in modern times. 31/Mar/2026 Oh look, a billionaire donating to a privileged wealthy institution - really help the 68 million or so ordinary British people! Well, guess he had to donated it somewhere. And just to let you know... As of 2021/22, there were approximately 166,000 voluntary organisations (charities) in the UK.
