Bato runs to Supreme Court to block ICC arrest | DZMM Teleradyo

Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa is set to seek relief from the Supreme Court amid an impending International Criminal Court warrant for his arrest, one of his legal counsels said Tuesday. Lawyer Jimmy Bondoc said he has filed a petition for writ of amparo for dela Rosa and is set to file a petition for writ of habeas corpus in case the senator is arrested. He added he has advised his client to stay put inside the Senate while they plan his legal strategy. The ICC has issued a warrant for Dela Rosa’s arrest after he was identified as a co-perpetrator of ex-president Rodrigo Duterte in his deadly war on drugs.
