UPDATE from Dr. Ben Lovvorn | 7.09.26

We have a very special video update for you today from the headquarters of Stanton Studios, our stained-glass artists for the Sanctuary reconstruction project! Dr. Ben Lovvorn will introduce you to Bryant and Jordan Stanton, who are overseeing this incredibly skilled and detailed work. Not only is Stanton Studios restoring and replacing stained glass recovered after the fire, they are also partnering with us to design 16 new windows that will tell the redemptive story of Scripture. The design was inspired by Dr. Criswell’s “Scarlet Thread through the Bible” sermons, which proclaimed the work of Christ from Genesis to Revelation. This will be an iconic element of the new Sanctuary! We look forward to sharing behind-the-scenes updates as that work progresses. Dr. Lovvorn also has a special request for you—please be here on Sunday! We will have a special time of prayer for Vacation Bible School, which starts on Monday. In the service and in every Sunday school class, we will set aside time to pray over the volunteers, as well as to pray for the children attending and their families. Our goal is to see many children and families come to see who Jesus is and to be transformed for eternity! Let’s pray together that God would do a great work this week.
