Speaking with people of all ages who are excited to learn about respecting and protecting sharks gives me hope for the future. A big shout-out to Access Schools for inviting OneOcean Education to share a shark presentation with their students. JuanSharks and I, along with our Jawsome team, try to share as many school presentations as we can fit into our schedule in addition to the daily @OneOceanDiving onboard presentations. In classrooms around the world, we’ve been able to share information about shark biology, physiology, and the important role sharks play in healthy ocean ecosystems. I never want to talk about problems without also offering solutions. That’s one of the reasons we love working with kids—helping them learn ways they can get involved gives them awareness, knowledge, and hope for the future. Thank you to all the teachers and parents who are helping raise the next generation to care about wildlife and the ocean.
