Description
What happens when you cut colored pencils at a 45-degree angle and arrange them into a spiral?
This clock is the result of that experiment.
Each pencil was individually cut, positioned, and embedded in resin to create the illusion of movement flowing toward the center. The chameleon background changes its appearance depending on the angle and light, while the mirrored acrylic markers add depth and reflections from every direction.
From a distance it looks like a colorful vortex.
Up close, you discover dozens of carefully placed pencil pieces creating the pattern.
Handmade in my workshop in Italy.
