Sabbath Service: Children's Sabbath 2025 - Rock Solid with God Presented by: Children's Ministry God's love is rock solid: "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10 What is Children's Sabbath? Children’s Sabbath is a day set aside by churches worldwide to highlight and affirm the gift and gifts of children in our midst. It is a day set aside to celebrate children as active participants in the life of the church. Why? Children are a significant part of our congregation. We often hear, “Children are the church of tomorrow.” However, this puts all their value off into the future. When we focus on just how much kids can contribute to worship today, we realize that there is value in what they bring to the pulpit. This day is an opportunity to give the children space to serve the congregation. Children’s Sabbath gives children the opportunity to utilize all their gifts, all their talents, and all their resources for God. It gives them a guided platform that affirms their service. Rooted in Biblical truth, it encourages theological exploration on the theme, and will leave families encouraged to study and learn together, long after the service is over. *************************************************************************************** Prayer Requests: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
