This afternoon, Scotland will see cloud and outbreaks of rain particularly across northern and western parts with a similar picture across Northern Ireland. For western parts of England and Wales, the rain will be more persistent and heavier at times. Central and eastern parts will stay dry this afternoon with some sunshine breaking through cloud. Temperatures could reach 26 or 27 ̊C around London, but elsewhere with more cloud and a stronger breeze it will feel cooler – high teens or low twenties. - This is the Met Office UK weather forecast for the afternoon of 16/06/2026.
