Description
The Can-Am Canyon isn’t your average three-wheeler. Powered by a 1330cc Rotax inline-3 delivering 115 hp and 96 lb-ft of torque, it sends power to a single rear wheel through a semi-automatic 6-speed gearbox. But the real story is the tech: traction control, stability control, ABS, and selectable ride modes all working with a linked Brembo braking system.
So can this trike actually handle dirt, gravel, and slippery trails? We took the Canyon XT into the sand and some backroads to find out. With 6.3 inches of ground clearance, enduro pegs, upgraded suspension, and proper rider aids, it’s not a rock crawler but it is surprisingly capable when pushed off the pavement.
Only one wheel spins. But with the right mode and the right mindset? It’s way more fun than you'd think.
