American Fast Food In Japan Hits Different - Tokyo Food Tour

I traveled to Tokyo, Japan to try American fast food chains and order ONLY the items you can't get in America. What I found absolutely blew my mind. From McDonald's serving lima beans and corn for breakfast, to KFC's wild "Melty Moon Viewing Twister," to Subway selling shrimp egg salad sandwiches, Japanese fast food is on another level. But nothing—and I mean NOTHING—prepared me for what I found at Wendy's First Kitchen. Carbonara. Shrimp pesto pasta. At WENDY'S. And it was legitimately one of the best fast food meals I've ever had. I've eaten at Italian restaurants across the country and this Wendy's carbonara might have just ruined me.
