The workers who went down to clean the well were the first to spot the snake, after which they left without completing the cleaning. Following this, the family members called Vava Suresh. Since it is an old well, entering it is dangerous. Nevertheless, upon reaching the spot, Vava decided to step down into the well to capture the snake anyway. The well was full of burrows.
