Ingredients:
1/2 lb ground chicken
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
Dry Batter:
1 cup ap flour
2 tbsp corn starch
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
For wet batter
Add 1 tsp baking powder to dry batter and add 1/2 cup water. (less or more to make pancake like batter)
FOR ASSEMBLY
brioche buns
butter, for toasting buns
shredded lettuce
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
Instructions:
Mix ground chicken and spices. Prepare a tray with parchment paper, grease your hands with some cooking oil and shape the minced chicken into patties.
Lay them on the sheet and freeze for about 1 hour or until frozen.
Make dry batter. Coat them in the dry batter first, then add bakimg powder and water to dey batter and make it pancake like batter.
Dip the breaded patties in the wet batter and then place in the hot oil. Do not overcrowd them. Fry in batches until golden brown. Transfer to a wire rack to let any oil drain out
Assemble:
Assemble the toasted buns with the chicken patty, lettuce, and mayo sauce. Close up and enjoy!
