This ride takes me deep into one of New South Wales’ most mysterious mountain ranges — Barrington Tops. Racing daylight, I search for a hidden cliffside campsite tucked inside the state forest. What I find is an incredible sunset, a cold night on the ridgeline, and one of the most memorable camps I’ve ever experienced. From winding mountain roads and dark pine forests to solo camp cooking and quiet moments above the clouds, this is a calm before the storm.
