Dying Light The Beast - Restored Land Is The Perfect Excuse To Revisit Castor Woods

Dying Light: The Beast has been around for quite a few months now, and while the base game was already fantastic in its own right, Techland never really stopped bringing in major improvements to various aspects.  Now, however, the studio has released a massive free update that brings in an entirely new way to re-experience the whole game, as well as a host of smaller-scale content that revolves around making traversal more interesting.  Headlining the update is Restored Land, a new game mode, which essentially allows you to permanently kill all zombies in the entire game, with none of them respawning. This, of course, also means that resources are going to be more scarce, since those don't respawn either, and otherwise-repeatable activities can only be done once.  Combined with harsher survival mechanics, like a flashlight that burns through batteries more quickly, this leads to a more intense playthrough that rewards thinking about situations before jumping in blindly.
