#gridsparta #bikies #b4l Raptor Squad officers have charged two alleged BrothersforLife gang members over firearm offences following an investigation. On Thursday 27 November last year, officers from Liverpool Police Area Command Highway Patrol were patrolling Hoxton Park Road at Cartwright, when they stopped a Toyota Hilux.Police searched the vehicle and located a firearm, along with a hammer, knife and drugs. A 20 year old man was arrested and taken to Liverpool Police Station, where he was charged with four counts of possessing a prohibited drug, possessing an unauthorised firearm, possessing an unregistered firearm, two counts of goods in personal custody suspected of being stolen, custody of a knife in a public place, and two counts of possessing or attempting to possess a prescribed restricted substance. He was refused bail and appeared before Liverpool Local Court. Local police then continued their investigation, and examined several seized items, including the seized phone, which allegedly contained images of three men posing with unauthorised firearms. The matter was referred to the State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad, after officers identified the men in the images as members of the BrothersforLife gang. Following extensive inquiries, about 4.50am on Tuesday 3 February, raptor executed three search warrants at Westmead, Wentworthville and Cartwright under a firearm prohibition order. A 33 year old man was arrested at Westmead and taken to Granville Police Station, where he was charged with possessing an unauthorised prohibited firearm and acquiring a pistol while subject to a firearms prohibition order. At Wentworthville, a 52 year old man was arrested and taken to Granville Police Station. He was charged with the same offences. Officers also located brothers for life tshirts and hoodies. Both men were refused bail and appeared before Parramatta Local Court.
