Description
Filming yesterday around the closed-off section of the old A57 near Junction 31 in Aston, Sheffield, by the old closed Yellow Lion pub.
A clearly marked Google Street View car arrived, but his driving behavior quickly became very erratic. He temporarily disappeared from view, and it took me a while to find where he had gone. Turning around normally on this cut-off road is incredibly easy, so there was no functional reason for his strange route.
The very start of this video shows the exact moment I caught him on camera emerging from the private gravel driveway at Devonia Annex. After sneaking out of the private property, he then crossed the road to go and circle around the Aston Park Fire Station car park instead of just making an easy right turn to leave.
Welcome to the channel. I have been vlogging across Sheffield city centre, South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, and North East Derbyshire since the July 2020 lockdown. From time to time, I also venture further afield, including trips to London.
This channel serves as a living archive celebrating our lovely traditional villages, changing landscapes, and rich local history.
But it is also a platform for activism. I am here to tell it exactly like it is—exposing the creeping nanny state, terrible council road planning, tracking-destroying roadworks, and the destruction of our heritage.
