I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED AGAIN!

Back again, exactly one year after removing a colony from this same ceiling, just in a different spot! 🐝Last time the bees had only been here 11 days and still built a huge, weirdly shaped nest. 🐝This time it’s one big, solid comb, neatly tucked between the floor joists. 🐝 That makes things a bit easier. No escape routes for the queen. She can only run from one comb to the next. But every removal still comes down to patience, sharp eyes, and a bit of luck. 🐝 And here’s a fun fact: bees don’t actually defend their queen. They’re protecting their hive and honey. The queen just hides in plain sight, surrounded by thousands of her workers. 🐝 Let’s see how long it takes me to find her. Keep watching for the big reveal! — © Hinterland Bees
