The Mariana Trench Explained... IMPOSSIBLE

The Mariana Trench is nearly 7 miles beneath the surface of the Pacific Ocean — so deep that Mount Everest would disappear inside it with over a mile of water still above its peak. Fewer people have been to the bottom than have walked on the moon, and when one explorer finally reached the deepest point on Earth, he found a plastic bag. Down there, the pressure dissolves bone, single-celled organisms grow to the size of a mango and build skeletons from their own waste, and there is a pool of molten sulfur on the ocean floor — the only other place it exists is on a moon of Jupiter. We really can't explain the Mariana Trench.
