Smiles are Universal 🇯🇵 I met Min in the Shinjuku area of Tokyo, Japan. She was greeting people entering the restaurant where she works, and I could tell she had a bubbly personality before I even spoke to her. She seemed surprised when I asked if I could take her portrait. But once I showed her the project, she quickly said yes 💪 (Note: I was a little confused when she ran back into the restaurant lol - but when she came out, she told me she wanted to quickly fix her makeup for the photos. I love how excited she was!) Min was a natural, and I’m so glad she said yes! 🙏 — 📝 Technical Notes: I used the Sony A7CII here with a 35mm 1.4 GM lens.
