Canadian tests ‘presumptive positive’ for hantavirus while isolating in B.C.

A Canadian isolating in British Columbia who was a passenger on the cruise ship where there was a hantavirus outbreak has received a “presumptive positive” test. According to Dr. Bonnie Henry, the province’s health officer, says the person with the positive test is from the Yukon and developed “mild symptoms” Thursday, which included a fever and headache.
