2026 DRAG RACING SEASON OPENER AT MANSTON RACEWAY PARK

We headed into Kent for the season opening event at Manston Raceway Park. A new venue for drag racing in the UK. Non Prep grass roots racing at its best. There was RWYB and a few shootout competitions for Streetcar, and Big Dawg over the 1/4 mile. Unfortunately first day gremlins meant the timing system was not working, although it did have moments where it did, and just in time for the quickest car at the event, a Nissan R35 to run a 9.18 There was some cool American Muscle there, and a good selection of RWYB cars.
