Description
My backyard is regularly visited by several Baltimore Orioles. The Orioles love to eat from the orange-colored feeder that I fill with grape jelly. The Baltimore Orioles have orange, yellow, and black colored feathers and a solid-black head. The male Orioles' feathers are often bright orange and very reflective. They often gather in my trees. Eventually, they fly down one by one for a grape jelly snack.
Orioles are a medium-sized bird.
Adult Male Baltimore Orioles have a bright, vibrant orange-colored belly with a black-colored head, along with black wings with white stripes. Female Baltimore Orioles have a lighter orange head and belly.
I set up a camera to record footage of birds visiting my backyard and landing on my platform feeder. This camera provides a close-up view of the birds as they feed, along with the various sounds and calls they make while perched on the bird feeder. I refill the bird feeders and add extra seeds to the platform when they become empty or low. I usually feed wild birds a mix of sunflower seeds and other birdseed options. Most birds in my backyard seem comfortable and take their time enjoying their food. Although the birds vary in size from large to small, most of them share the seeds.
