Description

Cleveland police are asking for the public's help in finding the suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash earlier this month that left the victim dead due to complications from his injuries. According to the Cleveland Division of Police, the crash happened on West 14th Street at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue just after 10:45 p.m. on March 9. Police say a black or dark-colored car was driving south on West 14th Street and hit the driver of an electric scooter from behind at the intersection. The car allegedly continued southbound and fled the scene without stopping. The operator of the scooter was hospitalized for multiple fractures and internal injuries. While the victim was later released, he died on Saturday, March 28, due to complications from his injuries.
