An elf transforms into a mermaid (to rescue a mysterious lost egg) - This short fantasy film shows a female forest elf is exploring her wooded homeworld when suddenly, she is called to the edge of the lake. When she looks out at the water, something shiny and purple catches her eye. But the lake is no place for an elf. And so, the elven woman transforms into a mermaid and dives into the water in search of the lost egg. Will the lost dragon egg be rescued? And will it ever hatch? This purple dragon shoulder puppet was custom-made to my specifications and looks absolutely awesome! The dragon has realistic features, can roar, open and close its mouth, blink and can move its head any which way. With the help of my boyfriend, I have decided to name the dragon Thistle and the elf character Bramble. Together, they are Thistle and Bramble, the dragon and dragon tamer. ✨ My dad spent a lot of time helping me film this short film, so please give a shoutout to him in the comments! It took about 3-4 days of filming to capture all of the shots we needed. And on one of the days, we braved the BIGGEST cloud of mosquitoes we had ever seen... I'm talking a black cloud so thick that it looked like TV static! We RAN through the forest to the water to film and then ran back as fast as we could. We were laughing about it while we ran, but also huffing and puffing for air, since neither of us are runners (and we both were carrying a lot of heavy items with us). It was a memorable experience and we ran into a lot of roadblocks... but ultimately, we were able to get the video finished. Thank you so so much for your help dad!
