For dinner tonight, I made Sauce d’Arachide 🤎 (peanut butter stew / groundnut stew) Growing up in Cameroon, we didn’t always use store-bought peanut butter. We would roast the peanuts ourselves and take them down the street to be ground into the smoothest paste. I can still picture that silver grinding machine like it was yesterday. Tonight, I made it the way I remember — slow cooked beef, tomato base, freshly ground peanuts blended until buttery smooth. Served over rice. Shared with family. Prayed over. Enjoyed together.
