A Unique Silage Crop Mix | Triticale, Crimson Clover & Hairy Vetch

In this video I visit a dairy farm near Versailles, Ohio as they begin their spring forage harvest. Using a Case IH 150 tractor and Vermeer TM1410 disc mower, the crew cuts a unique silage crop mix consisting of triticale, crimson clover and hairy vetch. After mowing, the crop is left in windrows to dry before being chopped for silage the following day to help feed the dairy herd.
