Project Motor Racing - Multiplayer Ranked Race - Group C Class

#projectmotorracing Ranked Race online - Round 4 Event: Group C Legends Cup Car: Jaguar XJR-9 Track: Lexington - Chicane (Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course) This is the fourth round of the Group C Legends Cup Event which takes place at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Mid-Ohio is a short distance track with several medium-speed bends plus slow bends, along with constant elevation changes. The biggest challenge I found while tuning my XJR-9 was figuring out gear setup to maximize acceleration yet not lose much top speed while driving through the long straight. Testing out various suspension settings and tire pressures also turned out to be critical for me, as I had issues limiting understeer coming from my XJR-9 while entering a few of the bends on this track. All in all, I managed to improve the overall handling of my XJR-9 during Qualifying session at Mid-Ohio. But I didn't think I found an effective setup that allowed for quicker exits from several corners on this track. The race started off chaotic for me as I didn't get off the line quick enough to avoid some trouble areas on the grid. While I did avoid getting into a major accident at the beginning of this race, my pace was still slowed down drastically. I eventually fell behind the small leading group that separated themselves from the rest of the field. Midway through this race I had major problems adapting to the reduced grip from the tires on my XJR-9 due to wear, and sadly paid the price. 🤦‍♂️
