From a drum-teacher perspective, this is one of those performances that looks playful on the surface but is brutally demanding underneath. The groove never truly settles. The phrasing is elastic. The transitions are unforgiving. And the margin for error is tiny. Andy Edwards (IQ) once said this is the song he’d be most afraid of performing live — and after analysing it, that makes complete sense. You’re juggling feel, form, ensemble awareness, and historical absurdity… all at once.
