ATIS vehicle through the City Rail Link tunnel

Want to see one of the ways KiwiRail is gearing up for next year’s City Rail Link opening? Come along for the ride! Our new Automated Track Inspection System (ATIS) vehicle recently rolled through the City Rail Link tunnel network for the very first time. The ATIS vehicle collects data to assess the current track conditions, which we use to help us identify any potential defects and plan preventative track maintenance, keeping trains running smoothly.
