Description

I have a new tree, a Crepe Myrtle (Lagerstroemia) that I got at the Kitchener Waterloo Bonsai Society's silent auction in January 2026. This one has white flowers and today I'm pruning it up for the first time. Lagerstroemia, commonly known as crepe myrtle, is a genus of deciduous and evergreen trees and shrubs native to the Indian subcontinent, southeast Asia, northern Australia, and other parts of Oceania, cultivated in warmer climates around the world. It is also know as a Crape Myrtle.
