Over the last week of March, I tried to get back into something I've barely done through 2026 so far; filming the regular KiwiRail freight trains in my local area. Most of what I filmed was the ubiquitous 'DL' class diesel locomotives, but quite by chance, ETM 432 (the track evaluation railcar) turned up round our way on the morning of Tuesday March 31.
