Coati has found an unusual means of getting fresh water

This coati in Mexico has learned that rain runs off a tarp covering and collects in this hollow fence pole. Several times each day, the coati and her babies arrive at the scuba dive shop and stick their paws into the pipe to get a few drops of water. The baby coati is more curious about the camera than about the water. He has a good sniff all around the GoPro stuck on the fence. Coatis are closely related to raccoons and are equally intelligent.
