Description
I built my own Linux Ubuntu home server to stop paying monthly subscriptions for everything. I also enhanced it thanks to Lovable who sponsored this video: https://lovable.link/YcKHEmj Instead of relying on Netflix, Google Drive, Dropbox, Spotify, and Google Photos, I wanted to see how much I could replace using my own self-hosted server.
This Ubuntu server lets me store my own files, run my own apps, host my own media, back up my photos, and even run AI locally with my RTX 3060.
Honestly… it made me realize how much of our digital life depends on subscriptions.
