God is not holding a flaming hoop. Walking with Christ was never meant to be a performance we white-knuckle our way through. It was meant to be a relationship, one where He walks with us, empowering what He's called us to. The invitation of Jesus isn't to jump higher. It's to walk closer. He's promised that — and He keeps His promises. Where in your life have you been trying to "jump through the hoop" instead of simply walking with Him?
