J.D. Vance Criticized Israel's "Political Stunt"

U.S. Vice President JD Vance criticized Israel’s parliamentary vote on the annexation of the West Bank, calling the move a political stunt that undermines the Trump administration's policy on the biblical heartland. The vote on Wednesday was a symbolic preliminary vote. The European Union has imposed more economic sanctions on Russia, adding to measures already set by U.S. President Donald Trump against the Russian oil industry. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy welcomed the sanctions. And the U.S. military has launched its ninth strike against an alleged drug-carrying vessel. The move further expands the Trump administration’s campaign against drug trafficking in South America. The attack on Wednesday and an earlier attack on Tuesday in the Pacific Ocean were departures from previous U.S. strikes that targeted vessels in the Caribbean.
