The embassy official who met me and my cameraman at the airport in Caracas strictly forbade us to leave the hotel unaccompanied, because it was simply not safe for life. But my cameraman and I decided to take the risk, and look what happened! Although more than three years have passed since the shoot, I still remember the horror that was happening in the country at the time.
