President of the United Republic of Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan speaks at the 'Russia–Tanzania' session of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2026) on Friday, June 5. The session is also attended by Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Co-operation of the United Republic of Tanzania Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Minister of State for Planning and Investment in the President’s Office of the United Republic of Tanzania Kitila Mkumbo, and others. Held annually since 1997, SPIEF is a unique gathering in the world of business. The event has become a leading global platform for discussion of key economic challenges and opportunities in Russia, emerging markets and worldwide. The 29th edition of SPIEF takes place on June 3-6.
