WHAT IS TRUE LOVE? Love is not proven by words. It is proven by actions.

Not every person who says, “I love you,” truly loves you. Love is not proven by words. It is proven by actions. A wise man once said: “Whoever loves you, my child, will not ask of you the haram. Whoever loves you cares about your well-being and does not neglect you. Whoever loves you is your protector and the one you can lean on, even if everyone else abandons you. Whoever loves you listens to you and not to that which is against you. And whoever loves you truly respects you.” The one who genuinely loves you will never encourage you to disobey Allah, compromise your values, or walk a path that harms your dunya or your akhirah. Real love protects. Real love respects. Real love sacrifices. Real love wants goodness for you, even when it is difficult. And the greatest love of all is the love that brings you closer to Allah. May Allah bless us with people who love us sincerely, advise us truthfully, stand by us loyally, and help us reach Jannah. “And the believing men and believing women are allies of one another.” (Qur’an 9:71) Tag someone whose presence in your life is a blessing.
