RFK Jr Defends Trump’s Alternative Math in Nutty Hearing

Now with there being hours and hours of testimony, we can’t get through everything, but there are a handful of moments that have been grabbing a lot of attention. Like when he was confronted with his own words about putting black kids to work on farms, and conveniently suffered a bout of amnesia. And here’s that clip she’s talking about; it’s from his election campaign in 2024. But naturally with RFK Jr., a huge amount of the hearings centered around vaccines. Speaking of which, his CDC just yanked a study conducted by its own scientists after it showed Covid vaccines to be effective. With the paper finding that vaccination cut the likelihood of ER visits due to Covid by 50% and of hospitalizations by 55%. But instead of publishing it in the CDC’s journal last month as it was originally supposed to be, RFK’s minions just shelved it. With them claiming that they took issue with its methodology, but experts say the method’s a standard one that’s been used for plenty of other studies in the past. And regardless, they say it’s very unusual for agency leadership to just cancel a publication like this after it’s already cleared the scientific review process and been given a publication date.
