I spoke with Iranian-origin actor Elnaaz Norouzi about growing up in Iran. Norouzi, who moved to Germany at the age of eight, recalled her last visit to Iran in 2022, when she had an encounter with the "morality police". She said it gave her a sense of what many women there deal with every day, the risk of being stopped or questioned at any moment.
