Steamrail VGR K160 & VR K153 - Werribee Steam Shuttles

On June 14 2026 Steamrail Victoria operated the Werribee Steam Shuttles between Laverton and Werribee. Hauled by Two K Class Steam Locomotives, K153 and K160 from the Victorian Goldfields Railway. This day marked the return of locomotive, K160 after receiving a major overhaul by volunteers of the Victorian Goldfields Railway at Newport Workshops and ventured onto the mainline For the first time in 58 years.
