Watch Out For This Dangerous Trend | David Ryu

People are turning to Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy, looking for something old and traditional. However, human traditions (whether older or modern) does not have equal authority with Scripture. Tradition that is contrary to Scripture must not determine the worship, practice, and doctrine of the church. God’s Word is the highest and only infallible rule of faith and practice. God takes his worship very seriously and we should worship Him how He wants to be worshipped. Worshipping God according to our own preferences and traditions lead to idolatry and it has grave consequences.
