That look only a mom can give when I say “yes, all twelve of my kids” 👀 😂 Had an awesome outside breakfast with my mom, back home here in Hawaii - just “talking story” and having fun. Eventually, our talks will always lead to something sentimental, like how good for the soul it is to come back home, visit the graves of our family, and all that being home represents over the years. Family, culture, struggle, pride, humility, resilience, and mana. My mom came to Hawaii from Samoa when she was a kid and since then she has endured so much in her life. And as her son, I’m super grateful that she gets to experience her life these days come full circle ⭕️ If you got a mama, make sure you bear hug today, make her laugh, and when she gets emo - see if she offers YOU some water 😂🥹❤️ The real rock of the family. #moms
