Zeljko Obradovic: My Signature Players The legendary head coach opens up about five players he worked with and won EuroLeague championships with over the past 25 years Nine-time EuroLeague champion Zeljko Obradovic is the latest protagonist of the My Signature Players video series. Obradovic has coached in 22 of the EuroLeague's 26 seasons, claiming five of his nine championships along the way. Over that stretch, the 66-year-old tactician has guided dozens of standout players to titles, building an all-time record of 371 EuroLeague victories - and counting. For this installment, we asked Obradovic to talk about five of them: Dejan Bodiroga, Mike Batiste, Dimitris Diamantidis, Ekpe Udoh and Bogdan Bogdanovic. The conversation ranges across character, mentality and work ethic, with a few insights rarely heard from the coach in public. But Obradovic made sure to put things in perspective: "In my life, I coached a lot – a lot – of good players. I can add to these [five] probably 150 more," Obradovic said in the video. "They are my kids, they are my people. And I am proud of the relationships I have with them. It is more important than everything, than all the titles we took together, that we continue to be friends."
