Designed by Lewi Brown with the One NZ Warriors and Dynasty Sport, the Kotahitanga jersey carries the quiet strength of one team, one whānau standing together. Born in Ōtautahi, Christchurch, Lewi drew on his whakapapa, his home, and his passion for sporting culture to create a jersey rooted in shared purpose. Inspired by the iconic 2001 jersey, Kotahitanga reflects the evolution from the Auckland Warriors into the New Zealand Warriors: a club for all of Aotearoa. Its red-black palette honours Christchurch, a city rebuilt through courage and connection. As a Māori concept, Kotahitanga speaks to oneness, unity, and collective action. It is the Warriors’ DNA: different cultures and voices coming together in one jersey, with one purpose. Returning to Christchurch for the first rugby league game at One New Zealand Stadium, this jersey marks more than a moment in sport.
