Description
*originally recorded on 2-9-26*
Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
After catching 733 in Decatur, I decided to chase them on over to this crossing in Courtland as I wanted to film it again. Here we see NS 733 flying past for the fourth, and what wound-up being the final, time on this day.
While I was here, I noticed that the far signal now has all RECO LED gate lights while the closer signal now has all RECO incandescent gate lights. Not entirely sure when any of these changes would've occurred, but I suspect the closer signal having all incandescent gate lights is something that occurred earlier than I may have realized. It appears that the closer signal has also had its gate mech twisted around towards my camera at some point, presumably due to being caught on a truck or other vehicle that ran the crossing while the gate arms were lowering.
