Mr Chippie drove along our usual 6-mile test route, the 'wrong side' of a hill. He stopped at the five mile point to test this set on a static test switching beween UK FM & CEPT FM...then back. The radio was set for 4.0W. These sets don't have a low power facility. The factory original mike was used throughout.
I'm not a lover of squelch in a menu like this has.
Our continued thanks to Thunderpole for kindly supplying the T3000 radio (and new mike) which is fitted to the test vehicle at no cost to us. This is the sole reason for the 'paid promotion' marker on this video.
