Description
In 1925, the year after its first Le Mans win, Bentley launched a more powerful and lighter version of its 3 Litre. Justifiably called Super Sports, it was the marque's first 100mph car. With only 18 ever built, it was a coveted rarity.
By 1929, Bentley offered more power from its 4½ Litre. Pioneer racer, pilot and powerboat racer Mildred Mary Petre drove one around the Montlhéry circuit in France for 24 hours at an average of 90mph.
One hundred years after the Super Sports, the latest successor arrives. It's named the more succinct Supersports. Honouring that 1929 endurance drive, its development codename was Mildred.
Today's Supersports delivers a high-g character swerve; a shot of vivid satisfaction for keen drivers. A V8 powertrain, rear-drive, and much carbon fibre in the aerodynamic bodywork bring it in under two tonnes.
It's the third of the modern Supersports family. The 2009 version had a boosted W12 engine and more resolute handling than the Continental GT of its era. The second, in 2017, took the power to new heights, yet maintained refinement. The 2025 version is yet more distinct, to engage the driver more deeply than ever.
Bentley luxury and dynamic ability. An unprecedented combination, limited to an edition of 500. For drivers who act fast.
